Which photos are important first
Start with an overall view of the part and a sharp photo of the nameplate. Then add details of connections, shaft, flange, body and damage.
For stocks, overview photos of shelves, pallets or boxes are useful.
Nameplate and technical details
The nameplate should be complete and readable without glare. For components with several plates, photograph every plate separately.
Document condition clearly
Show corrosion, cracks, missing covers, leakage, damaged plugs or visible modifications openly. Honest condition information saves time.
